The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a domestic disturbance in Thamesville.
Last night just before 8:00 p.m. a woman contacted police to report that she has been assaulted by her boyfriend with a hockey stick. The man also broke a picture frame in her home. Through investigation, the woman reported a previous incident of domestic violence.
The 28-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous, mischief under $5000 and assault. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
