Dr. Ranjith Chandrasena, chief of medical staff and chief of psychiatry at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, has been given an award as an inaugural champion of telemedicine, one of only 14 awards being given throughout the province.
Chandrasena has led alliance efforts to provide online videoconferences to patients and families.
