A Chatham man got more than he expectorated after spitting in the face of his girlfriend during an argument Saturday night.
The woman reported the incident to police Sunday and a 43-year-old Leamington man was arrested in Chatham, charged with two counts of assault and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
