The spate of spring fender benders in Chatham-Kent continued Wednesday, as Police responded to two morning collisions in the Dresden area, and one in Wabash last night.

Shortly before 8 a.m., emergency crews were called out to a two-vehicle crash on Kent Bridge Road near Base Line.

Total damage was about $13,000.

A 19-year-old Dresden woman, who faces charges of making a turn not in safety, had to be taken to hospital for treatment.

About 90 minutes later, police headed down Base Line near Dawn Mills Road to a single-vehicle accident.

There was only about $900 damage, and an 89-year-old Sarnia man was charged with disobeying a stop sign.

Last night about 7 p.m., officers were again on Base Line, this time near Flat Rock Road, to attend a three-vehicle crash.

No one was injured, and damage is pegged at about $11,000.

A 24-year-old Camden Township man is charged with passing a vehicle when the roadway wasn’t clear.
