So much for the happy holiday season. A Wallaceburg man face charges after a road rage incident on Queen’s Line Tuesday.

Police say just before 5 p.m., a man was eastbound on Queen’s Line, weaving in and out of traffic, and at one point cut off another vehicle, forcing the driver of that car to slam on the brakes to avoid a collision.

The man followed this vehicle and at one point, police say, he forced it off the road. When the two vehicles pulled up to an intersection, the one man got out of his car and approached the other driver, threatening him with a hunting knife, according to police.

The man returned to his car and sped off, with the victim now following in hot pursuit in an attempt to identify him. The lead car braked suddenly, causing a collision, police say. The victim called the cops at this point.

Officers tracked down the suspect at his residence.

A 29-year-old Wallaceburg man faces charges of dangerous driving, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and assault with a weapon.
