OTDA - Day 2

A Chatham family benefitted Tuesday from the Toyota Holiday Wishmaker program.

During the 24 days of December leading up to Christmas, the Ontario Toyota Dealers Association (OTDA) is granting wishes to folks across the province.

Shelley Bechard-Kloostra and her daughters, thanks to the recommendation of a family friend, received a visit from Toyota representatives.

Shelley lost her husband, teacher Paul Kloostra to a heart attack last January. Since Christmas was such a special time for the family, she has found it difficult to replace their broken tree.

Enter Toyota. The dealers association replaced her tree and are having a special tree topper done in Paul’s memory.

The OTDA will fulfill one wish each day until Christmas.

  2. Ohhh Shelley what a nice way to get a new tree. Christmas without Paul will be very hard. Know that family and friends are remembering you on this sad day and will always remember Paul as such a special guy
