Chatham-Kent police say thanks to the public’s assistance, they identify a suspect they wanted to track down in connection with an assault last week.
On Nov. 19, just before midnight, the man went to the apartment complex and got into the building. Police say he gained entry thanks to a woman he’s spoken with previously over the phone.
The man was only in the building a short while, but police allege during that time he assaulted the woman.
She didn’t suffer any injuries.
Police released the photos of the man this morning. He was identified and arrested.
