The funeral homes from across Chatham-Kent joined forces recently to donate nearly $37,000 to the Chatham-Kent Hospice project.
“Our community’s funeral homes have been helping our families deal with end-of-life concerns for years and their support of our community hospice is another example of how they continue to support us in some of our most vulnerable hours,” Jennifer Wilson, chair of the Chatham-Kent Hospice, said in a media release.
The donation is part of the $250,000 Thanks for Giving community campaign.
