It was a tough weekend for some folks in Romney Township. A man faces nearly a dozen criminal charges and others were shaken up.
Police say about 6:55 p.m. Saturday, a man threatened others on Cemetery Road in Romney Township, and also committed assault. At times, they say he was armed with a pipe and a knife.
Police report injuries to his victims were minor.
While behind bars, police say the man caused mischief to his jail cell, and will face charges for that.
A 50-year-old Romney Township man faces charges of assault, weapons dangerous, uttering threats and mischief in connection with the incident.
