Chatham-Kent police are looking for a hit-and-run driver.

Police say about 9:30 a.m. Sunday, a woman driving a newer white vehicle in Tilbury side-wiped a blue Chevy Lumina on Louise Street after turning from Mill Street.

According to police, she left white paint transfer down the entire driver’s side of the Lumina, and didn’t stop after the accident.

She was last seen heading southbound on Queen Street.

Police say the victim’s vehicle suffered about $1,000 damage.

The woman is described as white, and between 40-50 years of age. Her vehicle will have front-end and drivers’-side damage.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Const. Dave Bakker at davidb@chatham-kent.ca.
