A woman died as the result of an accident Sunday on Queen’s Line in Chatham.
Police say the accident took place about 1 a.m. Sunday between Dillon Road and Bloomfield Road.
Two vehicles were involved, a Ford Freestar van and a Mustang.
The two drivers, the only people in the vehicles, were taken to hospital. Police say a 20-year-old Wallaceburg man was treated and released, whereas a 46-year-old Windsor woman was transferred to London with life-threatening injuries.
The later died of her injuries, police say.
