Cops nab man for attempting to lure a child on social media

A 27-year-old Blenheim man faces charges of luring a child after an incident on Facebook.

Chatham-Kent police say officers were called in about 4 p.m. Monday after parents accessed their child’s Facebook account, discovering a man was sending inappropriate messages, and also sought to meet their child.

Police were able to identify the man, they say.

The investigation is ongoing.
