The Chatham-Kent Children’s Safety Village is hosting its first ever Delta P.A.L.S. summer sorority day camp for girls ages 6-12 the week of July 21-25.
The girls will take part in activities such as archery, self-defence and martial arts, crafting and nutritional lessons to learn how to create some healthy DIY snacks, all with the themes of self-respect and respect for others.
They will learn the importance of self-awareness, friendship, how to be a good friend, with lessons surrounding body image, mean girls and anti-bullying.
Safety Village executive director Barb Lovell said the camps will be an exciting, fun-filled week for the girls.
