Chatham-Kent police are looking to sort out what happened on McNaughton Street last night when a van pulled up to a woman walking on the street and took off with her inside.
Police say about 8:40 p.m. Monday night, between Sandys Street and St. Clair Street a white van pulled up to a woman walking in the area. They report the male driver got out, approached the female and ushered her into the vehicle.
Police say they scoured the area looking for the van, but came up empty.
Officers would like to identify and speak to the people involved to find out what actually occurred.
