Chatham Coun. Marjorie Crew entered a successful motion to fund some Jaycee Pool repairs.
Council approved investing $100,000 to restore the Chatham pool by utilizing funds from the lifecycle budget.
Chatham Coun. Michael Bondy said it was important to keep the pool open.
“Closing the pool is not an option,” he said. “It’s an important part of our community.”
