The St. Clair Catholic and Lambton Kent district school boards received $60,000 this week from the Noelle’s Gift
charitable fund. The money will be shared between the school boards to support students who are in need.
Funds will be used to purchase eyeglasses, clothing, food, medicine – anything that will help children and families in crisis.
The Noelle’s Gift charitable fund was established in memory of Noelle Paquette, a former kindergarten teacher with the Catholic board who passed away last January.
The funds from Noelle’s Gift
will be dispersed independently through the two school boards. Principals will make application whenever a child is in need.
