Bike Fest slated for Sept. 21

Chatham-Kent Bike Fest is ready to ride Sept. 21, starting at the Chatham Courthouse on Grand Avenue West and ending at Duke’s Harley Davidson.

Motorcycle enthusiasts and the public are invited to attend the annual event, which raises funds for Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

The cost to enter is $10 and the escorted ride, including television personalities from Biker TV, will proceed through Chatham-Kent, ending at Duke’s for a Harley raffle draw, live music, beer tent and unique vendors.

Tickets for the draw to win a 2013 Harley Davidson FXSB Breakout are $20 each and include five cash prizes of $100 each.

Registration for the bikers begins at the Courthouse at 10:30 a.m. The bikes will be blessed at 11:30 a.m. with kickstands up at 12 noon.

The event at Duke’s begins and 1 p.m. and runs to 6 p.m. and admission is free.
