Join artists Mary Anne Barkhouse and Wendy Coburn for a panel discussion on Thursday, July 18 at 7 p.m. at the Thames Art Gallery in Chatham.
Gallery curators Andrea Fatona and Katherine Dennis will host the discussion which will focus on the Land Marks
exhibition currently showing at the Gallery.
Barkhouse, born in Vancouver, B.C., is a member of the Nimpkish band, Kwakitul First Nation and her work examines environmental concerns and indigenous culture through the use of animal imagery.
Coburn is an associate professor at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, and her work explores representations of women in popular culture.
