David VanDamme is the fourth person to come forward to seek a seat on council in East Kent, Ward 3 in Chatham-Kent.
VanDamme, who lives in Croton, joins incumbents Jim Brown and Steve Pinsonneault, as well as Mona Natvik, in the quest for the two East Kent seats.
The municipal election takes place Oct. 27.
