Chatham-Kent police continue to investigate a Wednesday night incident on Longwoods Road near Thamesville where an elderly pedestrian was hit and killed.
Police say the crash took place about 11:40 p.m. between Dew Drop Road and Huffs Side Road.
A Thamesville man, 86, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The female driver, 20, also from Thamesville, was not hurt.
That section of Longwoods Road was closed overnight as police investigated.
That investigation is still underway.
