Two teenagers face charges after someone was hit by pepper spray early Friday morning.
Chatham-Kent police say the victim, a woman, made her way into a Queen Street business in Chatham about 12:15 a.m. after being assaulted by two unknown individuals using bear spray.
Police called and officers went looking for suspects. It didn’t take them long, as they located the two people they believe were involved.
Two teens, aged 15 and 16, face charges of assault with a weapon and administering a noxious substance. The younger of the two also faces a charge of failing to comply with an undertaking.
