Engbridge Gas heated up the United Way of Southwestern Ontario’s coffers recently.
The company, its employees and retirees joined forces to raise $244,843.
United Way personnel said this contribution will help fund critical programs aimed at addressing the needs of vulnerable populations across Chatham-Kent and beyond.
“We are deeply grateful to Enbridge Gas for its continued partnership and generosity,” said Lorraine Goddard, CEO of United Way, in a media release. “This transformative donation will have a profound impact on the lives of individuals and families across Chatham-Kent and will enable us to deepen our efforts and reach even more people in need. Together, we will create stronger, more resilient communities and drive meaningful change where it is needed most.”
Enbridge Gas has supported the United Way back into the late 1940s with both financial contributions and employee volunteer efforts.
