A Chatham man faces multiple assault charges following a police investigation.
Chatham-Kent police learned of allegations of a series of historical intimate partner violence related offences. Officers formed reasonable grounds to arrest the suspect.
A 19-year-old Chatham man was located at his residence, advised of the investigation, and arrested without incident. He is charged with four counts of assault. Police also found him to be in possession of a set of brass knuckles. That earned him a charge of possession of a prohibited weapon.
