A two-car crash on Highway 40 between Chatham and Wallaceburg sent three people to hospital Tuesday evening.
Emergency crews got the call about 6 p.m. for an accident at the intersection of Hwy. 40 and Electric Line.
The drivers and one passenger had to be taken to hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police say.
The highway had to be closed for a time as crews worked to ensure the safety of those involved, and police investigated what happened.
As a result of the investigation, a 53-year-old from Winnipeg is charged with failing to yield.
