A 14 year old has charged following a dangerous driving incident north of Blenheim Wednesday.
According to Chatham-Kent police, officers were called to probe reports of a southbound vehicle on Communication Road driving aggressively, overtaking other vehicles in a dangerous manner.
Upon investigation, police stopped the vehicle on Chatham Street North in Blenheim to discover a 14-year-old behind the wheel.
A 16-year-old, to whom the vehicle was registered, was a passenger in the back seat, police say.
The wannabe young driver is charged with driving without a license, while the vehicle owner was issued a summons for permitting an unlicensed person to drive, and with allowing a person under 16 to drive.
