Manhunt on for dangerous offender

Nicholas McCullough

Police are asking area residents to be on the lookout for a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

According to a report from the OPP’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad (R.O.P.E.) Nicholas McCullough, 30, is wanted by Windsor on 14 charges – including assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm – and other offences related to using a firearm to commit a robbery.

Police say the white Caucasian male is six-feet tall, weighs 187 lbs., and has brown hair and brown eyes. He has scars on his right cheek, left elbow and shoulders, and has a cross tattooed on his chest. McCullough is known to frequent Chatham-Kent, Sarnia, London and Windsor.

R.O.P.E. is involved as McCullough is in breach of a statutory release, police say. He was serving a six-year, seven-month sentence for a slew of offences including aggravated assault, possession of a weapon, discharging a weapon with intent and failing to comply with a probation order.

Anyone having contact with this offender or information in regards to his whereabouts is asked to contact the R.O.P.E. Squad at 416-808-5900 or toll free at 1-866-870-7673.
