The OPP has released its list of occurrences over the past week, including four incidents on Chatham-Kent highways.
On Jan. 4 shortly after 10:30 p.m., police responded to a single-vehicle crash on the westbound Highway 401. Police say a transport truck left the roadway, entered the centre median and collided with the cable guardrail.
The lone occupant and driver sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
As a result of the investigation, a 61-year-old of Tecumseh was charged with careless driving.

On Jan. 6 at 7:45 a.m., police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Hwy. 40.
A passenger vehicle left the roadway and entered the east ditch.
The lone occupant and driver sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision.
As a result of the investigation, a 19-year-old of Chatham was charged with careless driving.

The next day, at about 10:15 a.m., an OPP officer pulled over a commercial vehicle in the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 401. The officer, police say, had spotted the driver using a cell phone.
As a result, a 22-year-old of Windsor was charged with distracted driving.

About 12 hours later, police pulled over another eastbound vehicle on Hwy. 401.
Police say the vehicle passed a stationary emergency vehicle that was on the shoulder of the roadway with the emergency lights flashing, and the passing driver failed to move over to the unoccupied lane.
As a result, a 44-year-old of London was charged with fail to move into another lane for emergency vehicle or tow truck – if safe to do so.

On Jan. 8 at approximately 3:33 p.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle accident on Hwy. 401 near Kent Bridge Road.
A passenger vehicle collided with the wire guardrail and crossed the centre median, coming to rest on the opposite side of the highway.
Police say the vehicle was occupied by three people, one of whom was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The highway was closed temporarily to allow for investigation.
As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old of Pembroke was charged with careless driving.
