Not very neighbourly
A Blenheim man was charged with assault by Chatham-Kent police following an altercation between neighbours on Talbot Street West Thursday morning.
According to police, a man and woman engaged in a verbal argument that led to the woman being struck in the face.
The 49-year-old suspect was located around 10:30 p.m. and arrested.
Speed kills and it also hurts your wallet
Chatham-Kent police conducted traffic enforcement on Grand River Line in Dover Township and nabbed seven offenders within 90 minutes.
Six speeding charges and one seatbelt tickets were issued.
Police would like to remind the public to obey the speed limit as it is a significant factor in serious collisions that are sometimes fatal.
Outstanding warrants
Two men were arrested in Wallaceburg Thursday on outstanding warrants issued by Lambton OPP.
One of the men, a 48-year-old fellow from Walpole Island, was located by Chatham-Kent police on Murray Street in Wallaceburg in the early afternoon and turned over to Walpole Island police.
A second man from Chatham, 34, was nabbed in Wallaceburg less than an hour later. He was also turned over to Walpole Island police.

A Thamesville man wanted on an outstanding warrant related to a theft on Victoria Road in Howard Township March 5, 2022, has turned himself into police.
The 37-year-old, also wanted for not attending court, was released with a future court date.

Another man was picked up by police by Chatham-Kent police on Murray Street in Chatham Thursday for failing to attend court.
The suspect, 46, was arrested and later released with a future court date.
