Drunk in a drive-thru?
The term “drive-thru” should be self explanatory. You drive through to get your food or beverages.
Yet on Friday afternoon, Chatham-Kent police got the call after someone drove into a yellow concrete pillar at a drive-thru on St. Clair Street in Chatham.
Officers talked to the driver and believed he was impaired. He was arrested and taken to headquarters where police say he blew twice the legal limit.
A 61-year-old Chatham man is charged with impaired driving and having a blood-alcohol concentration above the legal limit.

Yesterday morning, police responded to a call on Camden Street in Dresden.
Neighbors reported to police there were lights on in a vacant residence.
Police attended the residence and discovered that the side door had been kicked in.
Police located a man and woman inside and they were both arrested for breaking and entering. During the search incident to arrest, the man was found to be in possession of suspected methamphetamine.
A 38-year-old Dresden man was charged with break and enter, as well as possession.
A 38-year-old Dresden woman was charged with break and enter.
