To all those many, many people who helped with the successful conclusion of the Nov. 25 council vote, thank you.
Whether you wrote your councillor in support of a hospice, called them to encourage them to support the motion, came to the council meeting, made a deputation that evening or encouraged hospice supporters with kind words and actions, please know that you made a positive difference in your community.
On behalf of the Chatham Kent Hospice Board and their supporters, thank you – your kindness and enthusiasm carried the day. You should all be very proud of the part you played in the process to establish a residential hospice in our community – one that will serve people with compassion and love for many years.
