Another COVID death at CKHA

Yet another person has died due to COVID-19 in Chatham-Kent.

According to CK Public Health, a woman in her 90s passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance on the weekend.

We are down to nine people at CKHA who are primarily being treated for COVID-19, four of whom are fully vaccinated, and four who are not vaccinated. The ninth is partially vaccinated.

Of the nine, four are in the ICU.

Areas of outbreak are slowly dwindling. We are down to six, with four seniors’ homes and two group homes still listed in outbreak.

The provincial restrictions have rolled back at the start of the week, as places such as restaurants and gyms are back open at half capacity.
