Shooting suspects found in Thunder Bay

Chatham-Kent police say the final two suspects sought from a late-January shooting in Chatham are in custody.

The shooting took place Jan. 26 on Harvey Street. Two people were hit and were taken to hospital. A third person was shot at but wasn’t hit. A dog was killed as well.

Through investigation, multiple suspects were identified. Three of the five suspects were located and taken into custody within days of the incident.

Canada wide warrants were subsequently issued for a 19-year-old man and 17-year-old youth.

Yesterday, the pair was located in Thunder Bay and arrested on the outstanding warrants.

Both have been charged with three counts of attempted murder. They have been remanded into custody pending a bail hearing in Thunder Bay.
