Chatham-Kent police hit a residence on Park Street in a drug raid last night, scooping up $105,000 worth of fentanyl, cocaine and hydromorphone, and arresting two people in the process.

Police say members of the Intelligence Unit and the Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) teamed up on the raid.

Along with the drugs, officers seized a sawed-off shotgun, a handgun, digital scales, cash, price lists for the drugs, and packing materials, police say.

Russell Jacques, 18, of Chatham, was arrested following a short struggle.

Jacques faces charges for three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession of a restricted firearm, two counts of careless storage of a firearm, resisting a peace officer and seven counts of failing to comply with release orders.

He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Heather Clayton, 45, also of Chatham, is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession of a restricted firearm, and two counts of careless storage of a firearm.

She was released pending a future court date of Sept. 11.
