If you hop out of your car after getting pulled over by the cops and a crack pipe falls out of your pocket, you could be in trouble.

Chatham-Kent police say one of their officers pulled over a vehicle on Princess Street in Chatham about 8 p.m. last night, and the driver quickly got out of his vehicle and began reaching in and out of his coat pockets in a nervous fashion. As he was doing so, a crack pipe with residue became visible to the officer, police say.

A search of the man as he was arrested also revealed a baggie of suspected methamphetamine, police say.

Piero Marchetti, 58, of Chatham was charged with drug possession.
