A Windsor woman is dead following a crash on Highway 401 near Orford Road on the weekend.
OPP say the accident took place about 1 a.m. Sunday. A westbound vehicle left the road and went into the trees.
The lone occupant, a 37-year-old Windsor woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the westbound lanes of the 401 were closed for about seven hours as officers investigated.
