Sir: Re: The Chatham Voice story, “Residents concerned over speed” in the Oct. 17 edition is an important issue that has to be addressed.
It is time the safety of the children on Michener Road becomes a priority of our police force. One child killed because of an idiot not doing the speed limit in the area is one too many. These parents are only trying to keep their children alive.
The council should not be concerned about the signs, they should be concerned that the speed limit in the area is enforced properly.
