Disturbance with scissors

Yesterday afternoon, police responded to a disturbance at a residence in Wallaceburg where a young woman apparently freaked out.

Through investigation, police learned that the woman damaged a door to the home, threatened three people known to her while in possession of scissors, and lunged at one of them in an attempt to stab him.

An 18-year-old Wallaceburg woman is charged with mischief under $5000, uttering threats and assault with a weapon.
