Chatham-Kent police say they received an early morning call of a couple of black bears near Centre Side Road and Base Line south of Tupperville.
Police say the call came in about 1:30 a.m., and they are unable at this time to confirm the sighting. They advise using caution when walking through the bushes and fields in the area, and to keep your distance from wild animals in general, and call police should you see an animal displaying aggressive behaviour.
