Sir: I see that the wrecking yard just west of Lacroix Street on Park Avenue is finally being cleaned up. There is everything from scrap metal to a rail car in that yard and an old story there also.
That yard has been a blight on the neighbourhood and the city for some time.
In the beginning, it was located in rural Chatham and of good purpose. But that was a lifetime ago.
This good news should lift the hearts of all Chatham residents. The old eyesore is finally going.
I am enjoying the new Voice in Chatham. You guys are doing a great job.
