On Nov. 29, the Wallaceburg Lakers will be hosting captains Stephen and Karen Holland of the Chatham-Kent Salvation Army to launch their Wallaceburg Christmas Fundraising Campaign.
Bring a canned good and receive $1 off admission.
The Christmas Kettle will be on location to accept cash donations.
The Chatham-Kent Salvation Army Family Services provides aid with food assistance; to fire victims; offers travel vouchers; aids with clothing needs, as well as essential furniture and household items; offers free daily break; and has Christmas toy and food hampers.
The Wallaceburg Lakers will be playing the Essex 73’s on Nov. 29. Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m.
