A Chatham woman, under orders to not drive a vehicle, has a court date in August, after Chatham-Kent police say officers spotted her behind the wheel last night.
According to police, back in February, a 30-year-old Chatham woman was charged for driving while under suspension, operating a vehicle with no insurance, and driving with more than 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood.
A condition of her release at that time was to not operate or have care and control of a motor vehicle.
Yet police say an officer saw the woman about 10 p.m. last night … driving on Lacroix Street in Chatham.
She now faces charges of failing to comply.
