Police have released the name of the man killed in the early morning crash north of Wallaceburg.
Chatham-Kent OPP say Walter Kenneth Brown, 61, of St. Clair Township, died after he was ejected from a vehicle.
Police say the crash occurred shortly before 3 a.m. on Highway 40 north of Dufferin Avenue. A southbound GMC Jimmy left the road and rolled, winding up in the ditch on the other side of the road.
Brown was ejected, police said, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The second person was taken to hospital.
The technical traffic collision team assisted the crash investigation.
