The third time wasn’t a charm for a 36-year-old man who has been charged with three break and enter incidents at Richmond Pharmacy.

The pharmacy was targeted twice today, once at 2:30 and again at 7:15 a.m. It was after the second incident police found an individual whose clothing matched that of a person observed on video at the store and arrested him.

In the first overnight incident, the front door was shattered and an unknown quantity of prescription medication was stolen.  Damage was estimated at $400.  On surveillance video, the male suspect was wearing a blue hoodie, light coloured jeans, gloves and black and white running shoes.

In the  second incident although entry was not gained, the new door had an impact mark to substantiate that an attempt break and enter had occurred.

On March 6, around 11:40 p.m. police responded to an alarm and found the store’s front door had been damaged to gain entry and a quantity of medication stolen.  K9 Arry was called to the scene and four pill bottles were recovered in the area.

The man, of no fixed address, was also currently bound by a probation order with numerous conditions. He was been held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Shortly before the 2:30 incident, Guardian Pharmacy on King Street West had its front window smashed. No entry was gained. Damage was estimated at $1000. No one has been arrested in that incident.
