Shortly after 2:30 a.m. this morning, emergency crews responded to a structure fire on Charing Cross Road in Cedar Springs.
The building was evacuated as the firefighters from Raleigh South and Blenheim extinguished the blaze.
Seven of the eight units were currently occupied. No one was injured. Damage is estimated at $80,000.
The fire is believed to be suspicious and remains under investigation.
