Police believe they have nabbed Chatham’s groper.
Officers arrested a 27-year-old Chatham man this morning in connection with a string of sexual assaults over the past couple of weeks.
Police say between Feb. 10 and 24, someone approached four women from behind and inappropriately touched them as they walked along various streets in Chatham.
No one was physically injured.
The man is charged with four counts of sexual assault and three of wearing a disguise with intent.
Dear Chatham-Kent Police Service. PLEASE DO NOT use the term, "touched inappropriately." This is Sexual Assault! "touched inappropriately" does not send the message home that this is a criminal offense and needs to be dealt with swiftly and harshly.
Holding your hand without permission is 'touched inappropriately". Ass grabbing is assault.
