The Chatham-Kent Museum will be welcoming story teller Seamus Gunn (portrayed by Doug Robinson), on November 17 to share stories of WWI valour.

This performance will take the audience back to a time shortly after the end of WWI, when the papers were full of news.

Seamus Gunn will treat patrons like friends reminiscing about what started the war such as the assassination of the Arch Duke, the political alliances that brought so many countries in, and

Canada’s entry into the fray.

Along the way the conversation will move to the stories of two local men, Harry Bedford Miner of Raleigh Township, and Ellis Wellwood Sifton of Wallacetown: their lives at home, their enlistment and their actions that lead to them earning the Victoria Cross.

This performance will take place at 7 p.m. in Studio One of the Chatham Cultural Centre, 75 William Street North, Chatham. For more information please visit www.chatham-kent.ca.

Tickets may be purchased in advance for the discounted price of $12 or at the door for $15.

To purchase tickets in advance, visit or call the Cultural Centre Box office at 519.354.8338. Online tickets may also be purchased at www.cktickets.com.
