Polls for the federal election are open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
More than 10,000 Chatham-Kent Leamington residents already voted prior to today. Ditto for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex. Advance polls, from Oct. 9-12, saw 10,278 cast their ballot in the Chatham-Kent Leamington riding and 10,453 in Lambton-Kent Middlesex.
They joined 3.6 million other Canadians in voting early. That’s a 71% increase from advanced voters in the 2011 federal election.
