Chatham-Kent police remind homeowners to beware of fraudsters.
This after an elderly Chatham woman got conned yesterday. Police say a man came to her home on two separate occasions to offer to make some repairs to the outside of her house. She refused both times.
But the man went ahead and did some work anyway, and the woman ultimately paid him.
But police say when she took a look at the work he performed, she realized she vastly overpaid for it.
Police have identified the man and are on the lookout for him.
