Two disqualified drivers were pulled off our roads yesterday as police officers noticed familiar faces behind the wheel.
Just before 11 a.m., an officer spotted a man driving a white van on Wellington Street in Chatham. The man, police say, is prohibited from driving due to five separate suspensions.
A 61-year-old Raleigh Township man is charged with five counts of driving while disqualified. His van was impounded.
A traffic stop in Chatham led to another driver getting taken off the road. Police say an officer pulled a woman over and learned her licence was suspended for unpaid fines, and that she had no insurance on the vehicle.
