Ken Edwards and Leon’s Chatham have again stepped up to help the local Scouts.

They purchased all the leftover Christmas trees the Chatham Scouts were selling on St. Clair Street, and donated them to people in the community in need.

Edwards and Leon’s have done this for some time.

Funds raised for the Scouts go to their annual camping canoe trips for less-experienced canoeists each June.

“It is a win-win for us. We can support youth in the community and their camping activities through supporting the Scouts, and help families that need assistance have a happy Christmas by donating these great trees,” Edwards said in a release.
